If I had to choose only 1 thing to stay fit, lifting weights would be it. Why? muscle mass and strength are very important to overall health. Plus, lifting weights also increases bone mass density. Not only that you could lift weights at different speeds and shorter rest periods creating an aerobic benefit too. And you get to workout all your body parts! Legs, Chest, Back, Arms, Shoulders, and Core. Lifting weights is a very versatile and effective way to improve your health, reshape your body, be strong, and increase your longevity and quality of life. So, I believe all types of fitness are good and beneficial but I highly recommend that lifting weights should always be at the top of everyone’s list.
